European Meta Ads Audience: Total Reach and Shopper Engagement

We compiled a comprehensive overview of the Meta Ads audience across European countries. This data covers the full cross-platform Meta Ads audience available for advertising across all platforms, including In-feed, In-Stories, In-Reels, and In-banner placements. All data is relevant for users aged 18 and older.
The total audience amounts to 335,805,500, representing over 10% of the global Meta Ads audience.
The share of Engaged Shoppers is 42.1%, equivalent to 141,211,000 users. Users aged 18-24 account for 16.16% of the audience (compared to the global Meta Ads average of 25.46%).
Overall trends in Meta service usage in Europe are shaped by a relatively older population, high internet penetration, and a generally age-independent level of internet usage. While the European Meta Ads audience does not significantly differ in terms of structure and income across countries, it can be meaningfully segmented into Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and Western Europe.
